Do you handle isolation / biohazard laundry?
Yes — colour-coded, sealed biohazard bags are picked up on a segregated route, washed in a dedicated 90°C cycle with an EN14476-tested disinfectant, and never share a machine with general linen. Every biohazard-tagged bag has a full chain-of-custody log.
What is your infection-control protocol?
Alignment with the NHS HTM 01-04 standard: sluice-first for soiled linen, minimum 71°C wash for 3 minutes (or 65°C for 10) on general linen and 90°C on foul/infected. RABC monitoring across every wash. Auditable per-cycle temperature logs on request.
Can you provide a full compliance audit trail?
Every scrub, sheet and gown has an RFID or barcode tag. You get a dashboard export of every wash cycle, temperature, machine ID and delivery signature. NHS Trusts use this in their annual PIR audits.
How fast is your turnaround for critical linens?
Under 12 hours guaranteed on the hospital tier. Emergency scrubs can be delivered in 4 hours with a phone call to your account manager.
Do you sign a Business Associate Agreement?
Yes for US HIPAA workflows and a UK-equivalent Data Processor Agreement for NHS Trusts. We do not ingest Protected Health Information — only cost centres and linen barcodes — so the agreement is on the lighter side, which most compliance teams appreciate.
How do you handle sharps or accidental contamination?
A sharps-in-linen incident triggers immediate quarantine of that bag and a written incident report within 24 hours. We do not process sharps or chemical waste ourselves — those must go to your specialist provider.
Do you split invoices by ward or cost centre?
Yes. Every pickup can be tagged with a cost centre code at the barcode-scan stage. Finance gets a single monthly invoice with a per-cost-centre breakdown attached.
Can we integrate with our EPR / hospital linen system?
Yes — REST + webhook integration is included on the hospital tier. Off-the-shelf connectors for Cerner Millennium, Epic and Meditech; custom integrations for anything else in about a week.
What is your damage / loss policy on high-value garments?
£250 per-order loss cover and £10k aggregate garment damage per year, replaceable at cost for enterprise contracts. Loss of a doctor's personal jacket over the standard cover is escalated to the account manager on the same day.
